Stress Free Flow is a relaxation-focused application I designed to help users support their well-being through calming visuals, interactive elements, and soothing ambient sounds. I built this app to provide a peaceful space for users to relax, focus, and unwind.
I developed this app as a native Swift project, drawing on my 20 years of software development experience. It was specifically designed as a sensory-friendly tool for my non-verbal great-nephew, Ollie, who has autism. The app prioritizes soft motion, tactile haptic feedback, and background audio utility without ads or subscriptions.
I built Stress Free Flow on a foundation of trust and privacy. This app does not collect, store, track, or share any personal data or user information. You can use all features of the app without creating an account or providing any personal details.
I do not use analytics, tracking tools, or third-party services that collect user data. Your experience stays private and focused entirely on your relaxation.
All features of Stress Free Flow are self-contained within the app. No user data is transmitted to external servers for app functionality.
The app includes a feature that lets you share videos with a QR code. The code links to the App Store so others can find the app; it does not process external payments.
The Gentle Reminder feature reminds you to return to the app for a quiet break. It uses standard local notifications when the app is not in use. I do not collect or transmit any personal information for this feature.
Background audio you start in the app may continue while the device screen is locked or while you use other apps. See Background audio below. This functionality does not involve background data collection or tracking.
Stress Free Flow can keep one relaxing background sound playing continuously while your device is locked, allowing you to use it as a sound machine. Playback is entirely under your control.
1st way to start sound machine: On the app’s Home screen, under Choose a Background Sound, select a sound other than Off and set the volume. Lock your device. The sound keeps playing. On the Lock Screen, you can use the standard Now Playing controls to pause, resume, adjust volume, or switch sounds.
2nd way to start sound machine: Open Settings in the app, then Audio Options / Vibration / Background Sound. Turn on one background sound and set its volume. Lock your device. The sound keeps playing. Use Now Playing on the Lock Screen to control the audio.
Your sound may continue while you stay in the app, return to the device Home screen, switch to another app, or leave the phone locked. To stop playback, simply choose Off for the background sound on the app’s Home screen.
This functionality is user-controlled and does not involve data collection, tracking, or external communication.
